The site first started in 12/1999, recently after I split from a 2 year relationship, as a way to give guys a little more information about me & to show more photos than a Gaydar or Gay.com profile would allow.

The first site only had the About Me & Photos pages, plus an email link. It was quickly added to though, as I found I was constantly being asked the same questions time & time again, so I implemented the F.A.Q page, so guys could learn the answers to these common questions - without having to ask me!

The Links page was next to make an appearance, as everytime I visited someone else''s website, they all seemed to have a links page, and I always read through them to see if there was anything I'd be interested in, and sometimes there was. So I thought what better way to tell other people about the sites I like to visit?

I had received many compliments about my website, including people saying "I wish I had a website" or "I wish I could do that", and since I enjoy building them, I added the Wed Design page to the site, offering other people the chance to have their own website for very little outlay. This has since turned into a website of it's own!

For a long time, I wanted to add a Guest Book to my site, but it all seemed very complicated to implement, and plug-in guest books offered by online providers were all rather disappointing to look at & use. My first Guest Book was integrated into the site in 02/2002, and my own custom-built version was deployed in 10/2009 after teaching myself PHP & MySQL.
Throughout all these additions to the site, the site's design has also changed. Sometimes it was to accommodate the new content, sometimes it was just because I was bored of looking at the same site everyday! You can see how some of my previous sites have looked, in the gallery above.

In 10/2002, my Flash site was lauched (images 5,6,7 above). I had been looking at lots of Flash sites on the net, and loved them all. The way things move, the sounds, the interaction with the users - all had me mesmourised :-) and I wanted one!!!! So I took a very steep learning curve and bought a flash program. It took some time to learn & I was practically pulling my hair out throughout, but it was well worth it. The new site was original split between HTML & Flash, so my visitors had a choice.

In 10/2004 I completely re-designed the Flash site, and removed the HTML option. (image 8 above.)

04/2012... it's time for a dramatic change. Web technology has moved on, and HTML5 is the future, so out goes the Flash and in comes HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP, MySQL, and a smidge of CSS border-radius and box-shadow! This new website builds on all the above. It builds on everything I've learnt before, and hopefully means the site is better, in style, content & ease of use.
